My Misty Clean cleans houses, apartments and condos in Barrington, Illinois and the surrounding villages. The work is residential only: the homes people live in, cleaned on a schedule or once, by a team you can ask for by name.
Most cleaning companies in this area will not tell you a price until someone has stood in your kitchen. We do it the other way round. The calculator on this site prices your home from its bedrooms, bathrooms and the kind of cleaning you want, and the number it gives is the number we confirm. No estimate visit, no call to find out what it costs.
How it works
Start with the calculator. Enter your ZIP code, the size of your home, the kind of cleaning and how often you want it, and the price appears before you give us your name. If the number works for you, pick a preferred date and an arrival window and send the request.
The request goes straight to the owner, who confirms the date by phone or email. Nothing is charged on the website, and a request is not a booking until we have confirmed it. Payment happens after the cleaning, once you have walked through the house.
The standard
Every cleaning follows the same published checklist, room by room. It is on the What we clean page, and it is the card the crew carries into your home. Standard cleaning keeps a house in reasonable shape; deep cleaning gets what has built up, and the first visit to a new home is usually a deep clean.
If a task is not on the card, it is not assumed. Ask for it in the request notes or add it as an add-on, and it is priced before anyone arrives, not argued about afterwards.
The people
Cleaning is done by a team that trains on the checklist above and works from the same request notes you wrote. Recurring customers are assigned a team, and that team keeps the route, so the people in your home this month are the people who were there last month.
You can ask for a cleaner by name in the request notes. Cleaners who agree to be named appear on the team page, and your notes travel with the request, so if someone else covers a visit they work from the same instructions.

If you clean well and want weekday work, we would like to hear from you. The careers page carries a short application in English, Spanish and Polish; it takes about two minutes and no résumé is needed.
We train on the checklist above, so prior experience helps but is not required. Reliable transportation is. If you would rather talk first, call the number at the top of the page and ask about work.
