What this website collects, what it does with it, and how to reach us about it.
This policy covers the My Misty Clean website. The site has no customer accounts, takes no payment and sends no text messages. It exists to give you a price and to pass your request to the business, so the information it handles is what you type into a form and what any website records about a visit. This page says what that is, where it goes and how long it is kept.
What the forms collect
The site has five forms: a cleaning request, a callback request, a contact form, a waitlist for areas we do not serve yet, and a job application. Each sends what you entered, by email, to the business through an email delivery service, with your address set as the reply-to so we can answer you.
A cleaning request also includes your address and how we should get in. Each form has a hidden field that catches automated submissions; a real visitor never sees it and it collects nothing.
The price calculator
The calculator runs entirely in your browser. Nothing you enter is sent anywhere until you choose to send a request. So that your inputs survive a page reload, they are kept in your browser’s session storage, which is cleared when you close the tab.
The page you landed on, the site that referred you and any campaign parameters in the address are kept the same way and included in the request email, so we know which advertising brought you here.
Analytics
When it is enabled, the site loads Google Tag Manager, which loads Google Analytics 4. Google Analytics sets cookies to tell repeat visits from new ones and records the pages viewed, the forms started and sent, and the type of device. It does not store your IP address, and no advertising features are turned on.
We use it to see which pages and campaigns lead to requests, not to identify you. You can block it in your browser settings, with an ad-blocking extension, or with Google’s own opt-out add-on, and the site works the same without it.
How we use and keep information
What you send is used to price, confirm and perform the cleaning you asked about, to answer your message, or to consider your application. We do not sell it, rent it or share it with anyone outside the business and the services that deliver the email and host the site.
The emails are kept as business records for as long as we need them for scheduling, the guarantee and accounting, then deleted. Ask us and we will tell you what we hold about you and delete it where the law allows.
Children
The site is for adults arranging a cleaning or applying for work, and it is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under thirteen. If you believe a child has sent us information through one of the forms, contact us and we will delete it.
The job application asks for confirmation that the applicant is authorized to work in the United States, which also assumes an adult.
Illinois, contact and changes
My Misty Clean is an Illinois business and this policy is governed by Illinois law. The site collects no biometric, financial or health information. To ask a question, request a copy of what we hold or have it deleted, use the phone number or email address in the footer.
